No, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Pass still comes with tube-type spoked wheels, just like the Base model. The step-up in price is purely for the premium paint options, not for the wheel technology. The tubeless rims are reserved for the 'Summit' variants.
The off-road performance of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Pass is identical to all other variants. It has the same 230mm ground clearance, long-travel Showa suspension, and 21-inch front wheel. It will handle trails and rough terrain just as capably as the top-spec model.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Pass is the mid-range option, sitting just above the Base. You can expect the on-road price to be around ₹3.15 lakh, making it slightly more expensive than the Kaza Brown but cheaper than the tubeless-equipped Summit models.
That's purely a personal choice. If you love the 'Slate' dual-tone colours, then the small premium for the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Pass is worth it. Mechanically and functionally, however, it is the exact same motorcycle as the Base model.
The only real difference between the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Pass and the Base model is the paint scheme. The 'Pass' variant gets you the more complex dual-tone 'Slate' colours (like Himalayan Salt or Poppy Blue), which cost a few thousand rupees more.
