FY2025 saw a massive jump in the sales of EVS with a total of 20,26,184 EVs sold attaining a 15.31% growth from FY-2024. Two-wheelers dominate this segment with 12,03,223 units sold, accounting for 59.38% of the total sales. In this front, Ola Electric, TVS Motor, and Bajaj Auto were at the top but noted a minor drop in market share for Ola Electric. Next, electric three-wheelers, with 7,02,799 units sold, also took second place with 34.69% of the total sales. Have seen significant growth in the passenger category, where brands such as Mahindra and Bajaj Auto are leading. Now, friends, when it comes to electric cars, Tata Motors holds the crown with the most sold, 1,10,748 units. However, their market seized slipped a bit but MG Motors stole in more market share with a 14.43%. Electric buses, however, saw the second biggest dip, but still racked up total sales of 3,570 units sold, with Tata Motors and Olectra GreenTech continuing to dominate this segment.
